The Baltic speaks: hear its message!

Zymetria, as part of a project for RLG, conducted a study on Polish people’s attitudes toward waste segregation during seaside holidays. The study’s findings were used to create the educational campaign “A moRZe bez plastiku” (A Sea Without Plastic), aimed at combating the pollution of Polish beaches and promoting the rational use of plastics.

Key findings from the study:

  • Only 4% of respondents admitted to leaving trash on the beach.
  • At the same time, as many as 91% noticed waste during their last visit to the Baltic Sea.
  • Of those, 72% considered the presence of trash bothersome.

The “A moRZe bez plastiku” campaign

The study’s results are alarming and highlight the need for ecological education. In response, the “A moRZe bez plastiku” campaign was created to address the problem of pollution on Polish beaches and encourage responsible behavior.

We encourage you to visit the campaign website and learn more about how each of us can take care of the Polish sea: https://elektro3000.pl/amorzebezplastikuzy
