Zymetria calculates Carbon Footprint for the third time

Zymetria is proud to announce the results of its 2024 carbon footprint calculations (Scope 1, 2, 3). Conducted in accordance with GHG Protocol and ISO 14064-1 standards in collaboration with Envirly by Quantifier, our total footprint stands at 91,808 tons of CO2e.

What the Data Reveals

Despite a 10% business growth in 2024, we saw only a 6% increase in CO2 emissions compared to 2023. This is particularly gratifying, especially considering our significant 29% emissions reduction between our baseline year of 2022 and 2023.

The primary drivers of the 2024 emissions increase were factors related to Scope 3, our supply chain. These mainly include:

• Purchased goods and services, largely encompassing technologies based on AI and digital carbon footprint – a phenomenon we are paying close attention to.
• Research emissions, resulting from several thousand additional hours of respondent work, which is core to our operations.

Continuing Our Reduction Strategy

It’s worth noting that in Scopes 1 and 2, the areas where we have the most direct influence (energy consumption, fuel, heat), we observed decreases in emissions. This confirms the effectiveness of our current efforts.
